To complete successfully, a meticulous start is essential. Therefore, you, in the role of PLC programmer, are part of Tegema’s multidisciplinary team from the very beginning onwards. Currently, our wonderful PLC team is looking for two new members: one junior programmer and as well an experienced software engineer who is going to set the architecture of our machine platform. You will be working on our high tech machinery equipment ranging from gantry axes, robots and cobots, hexapods, HMI’s Industry 4.0 data communication and –logging technologies. Together with you, we will build Tegema 2.0 and take it to the next level – that is why you, as a software engineer, have substantial impact. Are you ready for the next step in your career? Responsibilities in bullet points Software design as per relevant standards; Software implementation within the modular Tegema architecture; Maintenance, expanding and improvements of the architecture building blocks; Writing and managing product and project documentation (amongst others requirements, test specifications, TPD manuals and instructions for operators). Competences in bullet points Experience regarding PLC programming, industrial control systems (P(L)C hardware and software) and industrial fieldbus communication protocols: about 0-2 years for a starter and about 4 years for a new colleague who is going to help us setting the architecture of our machine platform; Programming experience with IEC 61131-3 (especially Structured Text) PLC programming; Bachelor’s level within the fields of industrial engineering or industrial automation. Very important….soft skills! You are highly motivated to go that extra mile, you take initiative and ownership; You love to work in a team of engineers with various backgrounds, but you are, as well, very capable to take up any challenges yourself; You have a detailed eye for quality and reliability of complex systems; You are service and user-oriented; You have demonstrated problem solving skills and you are result-driven; You have oral and written knowledge of Dutch and English. Plusses? Experience in B&R Automation Studio 4 and B&R MAPP; Experience with motion controllers, coordinated motion, robots and vision; Programming knowledge in other programming languages (LabVIEW, C, C++, C#).
