| Software-engineer Software-engineer How can we attune our Warehouse Management System to the processes and wishes of the customer as good as possible. As a software engineer, you take care of all customer-specific software adjustments and optimisations. Do you want to learn how to programme? Do you love work that is varied, challenging and with a visible result? And are you a person who sticks in to an assignment for 100 per cent? Then you have what it takes to become a great software engineer. What will you do? A new routing for the order pickers results in more efficiency. The customer wants to have specific products stacked slightly differently to reduce the transport costs. Or there is a need for a different layout on labels so the temperature can also be included. No matter what the wish or request is: you will make the necessary software adjustments. Sometimes by yourself, sometimes in a team. Most of the adjustments relate to our Warehouse Management System, but you will also focus on other systems and interfacing and apps, for example. You will begin with small, well-defined assignments. Along the way, the assignments will increase in size and become more complex. This also requires more coordination, both with the customer and with colleagues. Would you like to delve into technology? Or would you like to develop yourself in the field of customer contact? Together, we will plan a development path that suits you. Training first You do not have to know any software technology or programming languages in order to work for us. In order to develop into a software engineer, you will first do extensive training within our company. Subsequently, you will work under the supervision of an experienced colleague. This is how you make the job your own. What do you need? University of applied sciences (HBO) or university level Affinity with technology or logistics in the broadest sense. Technical insight and the ability to think in structures and patterns. Analytical skills A good sense of responsibility Enthusiasm and team spirit The drive to learn and develop yourself What do you get from us? A fun and challenging job at a company where your personality and talents are more important than your CV. With a competitive salary, an extensive internal training programme and a range of career opportunities. Interested? We are looking for several entry-level software engineers. Interested? Send your motivation and CV to Francien van Boxtel at firstname.lastname@example.org . If we feel there may be a match, we will invite you for a meeting. If we both feel good about this, you will receive an invitation for our exam days.
