Personal Assistant to President Yokogawa, Amersfoort – fulltime (40 hrs.)
Yokogawa engages in broad-ranging activities in the areas of measurement, control, and information. The industrial automation business provides vital products, services and solutions to a diverse range of process industries including oil, chemicals, natural gas, power, iron and steel, and pulp and paper. Yokogawa co-innovates with its customers through a global network of 112 companies spanning 61 countries. Currently, we are looking for a highly professional Personal Assistant to support the President of Yokogawa Europe.
You will support the CEO (President) whose most important mission is to deliver on Yokogawa’s ambitions as described in the Transformation 2020 strategies, while continuing the growth of Yokogawa and further develop the European organization to stay relevant to Customers. As a strategic partner you will handle all (complex) calendar management including adding/editing meeting requests as well as ensuring timing and logistical details are in place. You plan and coordinate external facing meetings, which may include cross functional teams and customers. You receive external visitors and you attend staff meetings (including follow-up on outstanding agenda items). You compile receipts to submit and file expense reports as well as file and retrieve documents and reference materials. Also research and compile briefing documents in preparation for meetings and interviews is also a part of your responsibilities.
You are a (top) Personal Assistant with eye for detail and the drive to take initiative with a supporting approach. You have strong communication skills in both English (near native) and Dutch and the ability to interact with internal and external partners at all (international) levels. Excellent planning & organizing skills and a problem server at heart with a genuine interest in learning by helping. You are able to constantly prioritize and make sure the President is well informed whenever and wherever. As he travels frequently, you take care of all arrangements in cooperation with the external travel agency. You review, proofread and format all correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as consistency. You are a teamplayer but can also work very independently. Accurate, a fast thinker, internationally oriented (used to working with different time zones), loyal and flexible. You have a strong judgement, professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with high profile situations that require tact and diplomacy.
- Relevant education and training (Bachelor level).
- 10 years+ working experience as Personal Assistant in an international environment.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant programs such as MS Office.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (speaking/writing).
- Fulltime available (40 hrs; non-negotiable).
