Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly reliable Discretes, Logic and MOSFETs devices. They focus on efficiency, producing consistently reliable semiconductor components. This client is based in Nijmegen and has an international client base. The department the Mechatronics Engineer works in develops, supplies and services assembly and test equipment for semiconductors.

Job description

In this role you are working on control systems and system dynamics of high precision equipment. You are working in product development and optimization of dynamic mechanical assemblies. Among your tasks are: Predictive modelling and FEM analysis and Multi-physics simulation. You use these tools for realization of solid feedback control. You take initiative in aligning your team to realize the designs in a professional an motivating way. You come up with solutions and work together with other engineers (Software, Electrical, Process) to solve problems. Feasible implementation of the Control system is your responsibility. You spread your knowledge among engineers within the teams of mechatronics, mechanical- and software design. You drive your team of mechanical and mechatronic design engineers to effective working methods.

Job requirements

MSc in Mechatronics (Preferably TU Eindhoven or TU Delft)
Experience in mechatronics design
A big plus: experience in high tech machine building
You have knowledge of Semicon / Hightech industry
You have excellent communicative skills both verbal and written
