Lead Developer - vidaXL

As our Lead Developer

You will be working in a fast-paced, open source-based environment using agile methods. You are a key figure in creating enterprise applications. Our sales channels and offices locations are based in the Netherlands, Romania, US East and West Coast, China and Australia, this 24/7 operation requires rock-solid software. Your colleagues are located in Shanghai, Bucharest, Venlo and Utrecht. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our development methodologies and architecture and we welcome fresh ideas and techniques. This position is located in Utrecht.

What you will do

• Guide the scrum teams with knowledge and expertise
• Have an overview of the development projects at hand
• Make sure technical solutions fit the corporate IT architecture guidelines
• Support scrum teams and report the progress and scrum impediments

Must haves

• 7+ years of significant senior software development experience
• Experienced in implementing enterprise IT software architecture solutions where maintainability and sustainability are key
• Experience in a flexible SCRUM / Agile development environment (pre if experience with Remote teams)
• Experience in NodeJS, Javascript (VueJS/ Angular/ ReactJS)
• Familiarity with microservices, progressive web apps, automated testing
• Passionate about the e-business sector
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
