What do we expect from you?
As an Account Manager you are part of the Sales Team. You will work independently in maintaining contact with existing accounts and finding new prospects. Together with the Marketing Officer You will work for a targeted and efficient exploration of your market area. You will be working closely with the System Engineering department in drafting quotes and concepts. You are a professional communicator for our customers.
What are the job requirements?
You will draw up an annual sales plan for your area of responsibility and ensure structured fulfillment of the plan. This will require that you carry out acquisition activities and maintain contacts with (potential) customers. You will analyse each enquiry in detail, and focus on realistic requests within your target group. You analyse and register crucial data in the CRM system for optimal progression of the quotation process. You are able to think at a conceptual level and discuss this in requisite technical detail with the customer. You will provide the System Engineering department with the appropriate information to enable a tailor-made quotation to be drafted.
Profiel van kandidaat
- Educated to HBO/WO (secondary or higher vocational) level (technical/business studies) supplemented with practical commercial training.
- You have successful commercial experience in the logistics industry, preferably in the Express Parcel and/or Warehouse & Distribution environment.
- You are committed to business processes in the production and/or logistics sector and you are familiar with mechatronic logistics concepts.
- Your knowledge of the English and German language is excellent.
- You are interested and willing to work in the international arena.
