Our client is a well-known, listed global organisation with headquarters based in Amsterdam. We are looking for a highly professional Executive Assistant to support one of the Directors with focus on Global Risk Management, New Business Development and Strategy.
In this 1 – 1 demanding position, you are performing independently a range of secretarial tasks. You are responsible for the complex diary management, travel arrangements, video/conference calls, priority setting, structuring communications flow and ensuring timely availability of critical information. You monitor all incoming and outgoing correspondence and e-mail that requires any actions to ensure an effective and high quality level. You are responsible for planning and organizing regular and operational meetings, trainings and workshops and participate in various special projects. You understand the formal and informal organizational structure and dynamics and quickly understand the core purpose, content and priorities. You will assist your Director and her team stay connected in this fast-paced environment, running internal projects and assisting in everyday challenges.
You are an experienced Executive Assistant with a broad (proven) working experience within international, corporate environments. This role requires the ability to prioritize and work under pressure within several time zones. You are flexible, hard-working and result orientated. You have excellent communication and social skills and you are used to working with different kinds of people (internal and external stakeholders both in The Netherlands as well as abroad). You have the ability to multitask and have a high level of adaptability, integrity, trust and responsibility. You are service-orientated, discrete and an efficient team player. You have excellent analytical skills and you can easily adapt into new complex situations. You make the difference!
HBO level (must).
Broad experience (10 years+) as an Executive Assistant within a corporate environment.
Strong MS office skills.
Experience with SAP, Sharepoint, OneDrive.
Fluent in English and preferably very good understanding of the Dutch language.
Fulltime availability (40 hrs. per week).
Living in the Amsterdam area (no parking space available; excellent public transport accessibility).
