Industrial Engineering Supervisor
As Supervisor for our Industrial Engineering department you serve as the subject matter expert for process development, streamlining, implementation, training and development for large scale projects. While leading a team of 2-3 field Engineers you also provide project management support to multiple highly complex process improvement projects. You also train staff on newly developed processes and standards to ensure post implementation success and continued process improvement for our Operations.
What you’ll do:
You provide support to improve the logistics Operations: working with managers to set op strategies for improving cost and service levels, developing of solutions to issues and provide recommendations for improvement, working with operations management to implement changes in the operations to reach desired cost reduction and service improvements.
Coordinating the business case approval process is also your responsibility: you coordinate the meetings, are responsible for evaluation and approval of Business cases to be released for execution while also evaluating multiple alternative scenarios.
You make sure that midsize to large projects go smoothly and reach the desired goal. You also develop measurements to optimize operating plans and assist with reporting.
It also goes without saying that as Supervisor you develop your team of field Engineers and work together towards the set goals for the whole Engineering team.
Providing solution designs and development of new business opportunities is also your responsibility.

What you’ll need
o Education: minimum of Bachelor Degree. Preferably in Industrial Engineering, Operations research or Supply chain
o Experience: you have experience in work measurements, methods and procedures, operations research, finance and statistical analysis
o Competences: you are able to work in cross-functional teams and can communicate on all levels in the organization
o You are naturally curious in processes and how to improve them, while able to perform the necessary analysis to back-up your idea’s
o You have working knowledge of MS office, Visio, MS Projects, Access and LeAP cost model. AutoCAD is a plus.
