To gain more success, they decided to create a new role. Therefore Leo Pharma is searching for a Field Market Access & Contract Manager.
In the position of Field Market Access & Contract Manager it is your responsibility to develop strong and effective relationships with HCP’s and non-medical stakeholders (e.g. health care insurers) to ensure maximum access to Leo`s biologics. You can make a significant contribution to the success of the Bio Dermatology division by negotiating and establishing institutional contracts. It will be your responsibility to drive regional market access. Therefore you develop and implement the strategy for access to current and future patient solutions and services. You develop regional MAP’s, map the relevant stakeholders who impact regional patient access. And also you will build solid arguments supporting the health economic and budget impact for institutional buying groups. Negotiations with the individual health insurer companies is also a part of the role. You gain hospital formularies in close collaboration with KAM’s. Together you develop and implement negotiation strategy and develop and use promotional material with HE-rationale and budget impact model in close collaboration and in alignment with internal stakeholders. Furthermore you ensure high value based perception of our products in stakeholders/payers mind. You act as subject matter expert on LEO Pharma’s biologics value proposition. Also you utilise clinical and economic data to demonstrate the product and economic value of our product. You maintain solid, constant and credible partnership with HCPs, payers, decision makers and other stakeholders at regional/hospital level. You keep market access knowledge up to date and translate national market access developments into local actions in alignment with the internal stakeholders. Next to this you conduct Market intelligence, monitoring of new guidelines, protocols etc. and inform the Bio-Dermatology team. Keeping the CRM-system up to date and comply with the applicable SOPs and legislation is also needed. You coordinate and accurately process all contracts with hospitals, wholesalers and health care insurers and apply Good Documentation Practices. Also you coordinate and implement price agreements between hospitals and Leo Pharma with pre-wholesalers. You act as the first point of contact for wholesalers for LEO Pharma and communicate updated pricelists, in close collaboration with the Market Access Manager Benelux. You report to the Sales Manager Bio-Dermatology.
- a bachelor degree and/or relevant healthcare professional background
- knowledge of market access and add-on medicines
- knowledge (and a network) of regional healthcare institutions (e.g. health care insurers) and the decision making process
- experience in the therapeutic area is an advantage (dermatology-psoriasis/biologics)
- skilled in mapping stakeholders/decision makers and translating this to action
- knowledge of the fundamentals of pharmaco-economy
- high level of communication skills
- understanding and correct adoption of the scientific relevant literature
- good communication skills in Dutch and English
- ICT skills: Outlook, CRM, Windows, excel, word and powerpoint
- driver’s license
