Development Engineer Machining To give advice as well as technical support to Management and Engineers in Nedschroef CoC’s with regard to: - Technical (and optimal) producibility of new (Innoform) products with regard to machining and cutting during the RFQ process in order to generate higher sales. - Standardization of secondary operation equipment and processes within Nedschroef worldwide and monitoring new developments to optimize the standardization, synergies and continuous improvement of secondary operations within Nedschroef. To support the Nedschroef Academy in creating courses w.r.t. secondary operations and where necessary act as trainer in the courses for Nedschroef employees. Your responsibilities Defines groupwide standards and ensures compliance to standards (process and tool design) Create development plan / industrial roadmap per CoC to allow them to grow to meet requirements to produce the allocated F2/F3 products. Plan includes selection and development of: - Machinery (Secondary machining, assembly, packaging) - People (Local F2/F3 engineers) - Processes (e.g. RFQ process) Monitor external developments in the market w.r.t. machining / assembling Sharing of best practices across the Nedschroef group by leading the Expert Groups, building on Barcelona, Schrozberg and Helmond experience Your qualifications BSc level Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Familiar with / experience in: Geometric tolerancing and dimensioning PFMEA Operational experience in a production environment Strong communication skills Adept in English and German language
