Combining technology with our in-house expertise, sensors and data-based services are one of our main focuses to deliver the most value to our customers.To help us in this ambitious endeavor, we are looking to strengthen our Innovation team with a fulltime Sensor developer for Sustainable Growing.
Your job is to carry out and oversee sensor developments to support our strategy and for which you have previously gained experience with designing, testing and prototyping sensors. You collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate new developments in the Cultilene solution.
You look for the cutting edge sensor technology in the market to gain insights and find opportunities to enhance our digital portfolio. You analyze and understand customer needs in terms of data requirement and participate in the development of the appropriate solutions together with the Innovation team.
You can help establish a robust and efficient supply chain when needed.
In this role, you work at the Headquarters of Saint-Gobain Cultilene in Rijen and report to the Manager Innovation.
- hold a Master’s degree in science or a technical Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Embedded systems or a related field;
- have a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience:
- have experience with and knowledge about IoT systems;
- have experience with and knowledge about hardware development;
- have knowledge about the standards in the industry;
- have strong analytical skills;
- are a proficient and structured problem solver;
- have excellent oral/written skills in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus; and
- have a drivers license.
