We are currently seeking a HR Generalist, reporting to the head of HR for Northern Europe, to operate in a standalone position based at The Hague. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support primarily for employees based across our two sites in The Netherlands and our small operation in Germany, which is an employee population of ~70.
The HR Generalist will be required to support all locally based business lines, whilst ensuring consistency in the implementation of local regulation and HR policy.Duties would include: supporting local managers for the annual HR cycle (Performance Management, Salary review, Training needs analysis), working closely with global HR colleagues to implement HR strategies and impart advice on the local requirements (legal, C&B, recruitment, culture) and be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle in conjunction with the Hub Recruitment team.
Management of local people development, monthly payroll and coordinating administrative and legal support for the countries of responsibility will be paramount to the role, in addition to ensuring compliance with labour legislation of The Netherland and Germany.
The position is located in the Netherlands at The Hague office. Regular travel to our other office at Montfoort will be required.
Required Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Human Resources with demonstrable knowledge and practice of employee relations activities, as well as a strong understanding of employee reward practices.
You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, have good numeracy skills and be fluent in English & Dutch.
Excellent customer service skills, combined with the ability to analyse data, provide clear syntheses and formulate smart propositions is essential, in addition to the ability to work in matrix environment and succeed in a standalone role.
