Operating as a key member of the global leadership team, the General Manager Sales - Europe will be responsible for leading all aspects of the go to market strategy in this key market. As an emerging leader in the market, a key focus will be to ensure that the company has the structures, systems and processes to support this growth and to ensure they can capitalise on the varied opportunities before them.
From a strategic and operational perspective the General Manager Sales - Europe will:
- Develop and drive a sales strategy identifying key markets and sales channels
- Build and lead a high performing sales team
- Lead market segmentation and positioning strategies and activities
- Lead relationship management with key clients with a focus on large corporate opportunities
- Oversee the delivery of high quality proposals, tenders and commercial bids
- Lead the negotiations to close out major sales
- Provide product feedback to the development team bring about product innovation
To be successful in this role you will be a consummate sales leader who has taken a new product to market in the automotive, electronics or manufacturing sector. You will have developed high performing teams to maturity that are backed by deep sales strategy, robust pipeline and channel management and strategies. You will have designed business and development and sales programs that take innovating products to market, led complex bids and proposals and be an astute negotiator.
